The article reviews dynamic stochastic model describing spatiotemporal representation of a moving wave surface for determination of its propagation velocity and length. Formulas enabling calculation of these wave disturbance parameters at all stages of wave action by means of advanced wave measuring equipment have been developed.

Due consideration was given to legal aspects of the "Median line" term. The critical selection results from basic data open sources were provided for its calculation, and calculation techniques thereof. Comparison results of two most distributed network arrays of global reach hydrophysical data have been offered. Numerical evaluations of conformity degree of selected arrays were obtained and suggestions on synthesis of mean value arrays for hydrophysical fields have been developed.

It has been affirmed that the geostatistical methods enable improving the efficiency of the Navy hydrometeorological support. The kriging efficiency assessment as compared to deterministic interpolation methods and the use of a hexagonal mesh for statistical calculations serve as a basis.

The article reviews two approaches to assessment of combat capabilities of force groupings considering statistical probability of occurrence of hazardous weather in the area of operations, and considering combat capabilities of hydrometeorological units and subdivisions of military formations included into force grouping. The suggested approaches enable to consider the influence of hydrometeorological conditions on the value of combat capabilities of opposing forces in the task of forces co-relation assessment.
